The front end of your bike is probably the part where you’re really going to notice even the slightest change. Were all about options, this next chapter in our ASSEMBLED series looks at one of the many front end setups possible using solely eclat parts…
Much like Brock, the Olive Bar is tall and built to shred. Brock Olive wanted a larger bar with traditional angles without looking too square, so we gave the Olive bar larger diameter bends to give it a cleaner look than most larger bars. Available in 9.3″ and 9.6″, the Olive bar is heat treated for strength and will have you slinging them B’s like the man himself. The Olive bar is available in Gloss black, Chrome and yes, we offer it in Olive, just because it was too easy not to…
Working on a signature grip with Bruno Hoffmann was actually a pretty straight forward project. Bruno loved our Filter grips, but wanted something a bit longer and thinner. Using our new VEX compound rubber, and with the Frankfurt skyline at the base, Bruno’s grip is easily one of our most popular grips to date. Bruno Grip and ALL eclat grips come with our NEW Corx V2 nylon barends which use a steel insert in the end to improve durability drastically and make them last much longer than a typical plastic barend.
We really believe in the simplicity of BMX parts and that’s why we never go over board when it comes to design. The new top loader Dune Stem is one of the slickest and most aesthetically designed stems in our collection. Available in a 50mm offset and in three colours, this sturdy unit features a taller 31mm rise and an extra wide clamping area to hold your bars extra tight.
The éclat Cargo Headset comes with three exclusive top caps & two 3mm spacers, offering you a variety of stack heights (from 7-30mm), so you can run your bars low or high, depending on your preference. Constructed of 7075-T6 CNC machined and precision sealed bearings, the Cargo headset is light (106 grams) and it’s available in a 3 colors for 2016, including black, red and high polished.
The Stream Fork has been a vital pillar of our product line for quite some years now. Our original idea was to create an incredibly strong fork that could withstand the brunt of heavy street riding, whilst not looking like heavy machinery. The Stream fork is built with high quality 4130 Japanese crmo tubing which is then heat-treated after welding to make it tough as nails. The Stream Fork uses tapered and single butted fork legs with 6mm thick invest cast dropouts, which are designed to match up perfectly with pegs and hub guards, giving you the perfect setup on the front. Ridden by most of the Eclat team, the Stream is one battle proven fork that is built to last.
The Teck Front Hub is another classic product which has proven it’s self over time. Our very first front hub, the flangeless design was to eliminate spoke wear on grinds. Constructed around a 6061-T6 alloy shell, the Teck hub features a 7075 heli-coiled female axle system for strength and durability. Available in a 36h option only, the Teck hub is a proven, effective and valuable component of any BMX. Lightweight, simple to install and built to withstand all the smith grinds and toothy hangers you wanna throw at it. 7075 alloy hub guards are available now, with Nylon/Fibreglass versions dropping this Summer.
