Robin Bourhis Whip Check

French connect Robin Bourhis was recently in the fine streets of Paris working on an upcoming project with our friends at Frenchy’s Distribution. Robin just built up a fresh whip built around a Wethepeople AWAKE frame and kitted out in all of our latest parts including the 25.4mm Strangler 4pc bars and Bruno Hoffman’s signature Predator Tires. Take a closer look at Robin’s whip right here.

What better place to sit than our OZ pivotal seat? The OZ uses our very own Poly Propylene base which is reinforced and able to take much more abuse and damage than your typical open model pivotal seat. Available in Slim or Fat (shown), perfect for slinging the bars or taking a perch whilst cruising.

Robin rides our new Strangler 4pc Bar which uses NEW Over Size (OS) 25.4mm clamping technology. The Strangler bar combines the bigger 25.4mm clamping area with a matching 25.4mm grip tube that then tapers back to a regular 22.2mm tube further up the bar. By using larger diameter tubing at the contact area you are almost doubling the amount of material touching, resulting in a significantly stronger junction.

Don’t be caught slipping. We offer our proven Slattery Stem in the new 25.4mm OS clamping size to match the Strangler Bars bars and other 25.4mm bars on the market.

Bruno Hoffmann signature Predator Tires in 2,30″ feature a slightly smaller width for improved sidewall clearance, and are re-enforced to withstand daily grind abuse and impacts to the sidewall. Basically, if you like to grind, these are the tires for you.

Preferring the classic engagement and direct feel of a cassette hub, Robin rides our Pulse Cassette with dual hub guards making a snag free grind setup ready for any rail or ledge in sight.

Look out for more from Robin very, very soon. In the meantime check out his wild ECLAT ISLAS video part he made waves with last year.
